Archaeornithomimus (meaning "Ancient Bird Mimic") is a genus of ornithomimidae dinposaur from the Late Cretaceous Period of China. It is an  omnivore, which meant it ate both plants and meat. In 1923, during an expedition led by Roy Chapman Andrews, Peter Kaisen. It was first described and named in 1933, by Charles Whitney Gilmore, but as Ornithomimus asiaticus. In 1972, O. asiaticus was changed to Archaeornithomimus asiaticus by Dale Russell.
