Cameroceras (meaning "chambered horn") is a gigantic orthocone (a nautiloid cephalopod with a long straight shell) that lived during the Ordovician period. It was the top predator of the Ordovician oceans.
Cameroceras was about 6 m long. Most of its lenght consist of its shell.
