Gastonia (meaning "Gaston's lizard") was a type of nodosaur from the early Cretaceous period. Like its relative Polacanthus, Gastonia was a low browsing herbivore, althought it was more well protected from predators de to having more armour. Many fossils of it have been found in the same quarry as Utahraptor, which was active at the same time, indicating a predator-prey relation.
