In 2005, scientists digging in southern Utah found the fossilized hands and feet of what turned out to be the remains of a new and bizarre looking feathered dinosaur. Hagryphus (meaning "Ha's griffin" - named after egiptian god of western deserts and the greek mythological bird the griffin) was an enormous, birdlike creature that was 10 feet/ 3meters long, and 7 feet/ 2 meters tall. Hagryphus had a toothless beak but strong arms and claws that allowed it to eat both meat and plants.
